Kitty Whitney, President/CEO

Kitty joined the Chamber in June 2010. She obtained a baccalaureate degree in Nursing from Nicholls State University in South Louisiana. After working in intensive care units throughout Dallas, she learned the home health business and it is there that she formulated the idea of a new service. Identifying a need not being met, she and her husband developed and founded The Infusion Network, providing ambulatory infusion services throughout South Louisiana. The service grew and is now offered by most infusion companies nationwide. Upon the sale of this company, the couple maintained the medical office building they designed and built, and continued to develop others which they still own and operate today.
During their career’s, the Whitney’s also had an opportunity to work out of the country where Todd orchestrated the site development and business operations of a semiconductor company both in Singapore and Italy. It is there that the couple learned international business.
Upon moving to the Emerald Coast in 2000, their development interests grew from medical office space to condominium development. While learning the development order process, Kitty found it helpful to include the real estate piece and obtained a real estate license which she holds active today.
As the President and CEO of Walton Area Chamber, her duties include the strategic planning and general operations management of the Chamber.
