A Political Action Committee allows like-minded people to collectively advocate for the needs of the Greater Walton Area. Each year, hundreds of laws, rules and regulations are adopted by state and local units, which affect the bottom line of businesses in Northwest Florida. The Political Action Committee is the voice of business when it comes to advocating, educating, informing, and reforming issues that most affect business' competitive edge.

At any given moment between fifty and sixty percent of our economy is governed by laws and regulations imposed on us by local state and federal governments. These laws and regulations affect every aspect of our lives and often impose considerable costs and hardships despite the good intentions and best efforts of those who serve in our government. The Walton County Chamber believes it is essential to work with all levels of government in this nation to promote legislation and regulation that eliminates needless and costly regulation while promoting economic growth and opportunities to improve our quality of life.

Thanks to the members of our Political Action Committee we can effectively advocate for our members and our entire community.
