The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the date for their 2009 Walton Area Chamber Celebrity Golf Classic. The golf tournament will be held on Monday, April 27, 2009 at the spectacular Camp Creek Golf Club in WaterSound. The Classic will include a Pairings Party as well as an Award’s Dinner immediately following.

Some of the highlights from last year’s tournament included Mark Lemke, Former Atlanta Braves player as the Honorary Chair. Other celebrities in attendance were Bill Mazeroski, Jim McMahon, John Rocker, Jessie Tuggle, Brad Clontz, Juan Bonilla, Barry Lyons, Greg Litton, Greg McMichael, Siran Stacy and many more….

The tournament is a scramble format, with two shotgun starts at 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. There will be a continental breakfast, lunch and dinner that will be provided by local restaurant vendors that will be scattered throughout the course.

Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams, as well as individual awards fro the golfer who is closest to the pin.

In addition to individual entry fees, there are multiple levels of sponsorship available.

The Walton Area Chamber Celebrity Golf Classic Committee

The Walton Area Chamber Celebrity Golf Classic Committee plans the Chamber’s annual golf tournament, obtains sponsorships and prizes and recruits participants for the Walton Area Chamber Celebrity Golf Classic. This is a fundraising event for the Chamber and is held each April at a select golf club in the area.
